What's the difference between pay-for-work and pay-for-access?
Pay-for-work retainers bill for hours delivered and Quivva tracks burn-down against the monthly cap. Pay-for-access retainers charge a flat fee regardless of hours — time tracking is still useful because it tells you your effective hourly rate.
Can I have multiple retainers running at the same time?
Yes. One active retainer per client, and as many clients as you like. The weekly capacity view shows all active retainers together.
Is time tracking required?
For pay-for-work retainers, yes — time tracking drives the invoice. For pay-for-access, the invoice is flat regardless. But logging time on any retainer surfaces your effective hourly rate.
Can I move to the next period before the invoice is paid?
Yes. Quivva auto-advances to the next billing period once the current invoice is sent. You can track the new period without waiting for payment.
