We use your data only to provide and improve Quivva:

  • To operate the time tracking, invoicing, and business management features.

  • To troubleshoot issues and monitor service performance (e.g., using Sentry).
  • To process documents and receipts if you enable features like AI-powered expense scanning (Azure AI Document Intelligence).

We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your data. We may share information only with trusted third-party service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including:

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Sentry for error monitoring.
  • AWS SES for transactional emails.
  • Azure AI Document Intelligence for optional document processing features.
  • Cloudflare R2 for file storage.

These providers only access the data they need to perform their service.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Your data is retained only as long as you maintain an active account.
  • If you choose to delete your account, we confirm your request multiple times, then remove your data immediately on final confirmation.
  • Backups or logs may contain residual data temporarily for system integrity but are deleted in line with standard retention practices.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal and business data.
  • Withdraw consent to data processing (where applicable).
  • Object to certain processing (e.g., automated processing for analytics).
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
